We have cancelled all our summer camps at this time. This painful decision is made with a heavy heart, and our staff is so sad for all the children and families that were looking forward to our particular nature connection magic. Please stay safe and stay in touch. We will miss you terribly.

Heather, Sara, Trudy, Tessa, Camila, Rachael, Jenny, Monica, Katie, Amy, Nicolas, Ruby, Annette, Luc, Charles & William and the Ventura Land Trust staff.

THE SHORT VERSION: With 12 camps completely FULL and over 150 children on our wait lists, we know this program meets a REAL NEED.

Between the California covid guidelines changing last week to mandating masks and social distancing even outside, the rising number of local cases, and the anxiety in our staff from all the “what ifs” – our staff are overwhelmed with the daily strain. Adding covid to the usual plethora of wilderness risks, group management and logistics, our staff cannot be in integrity to our program goals, primarily keeping kids and staff safe. We are terribly sad and frustrated as I am sure you are too. We are sending full refunds.
