How to Register (Summer Session): 

1. Registration OPENS Thursday, March 2nd @ 9:00 AM. Registration CLOSES Sunday, March 5th @ 9:00 PM.

2. When registration opens, you will complete our Sign-Up Form where you will indicate your choice of summer camp(s)

3. After registration closes, we will place participants and send an email to complete your registration on Monday, March 6th by 5PM.

4. Registration will reopen for any remaining available spots on Thursday, March 23rd.

Why do we conduct our registration this way?

In the past, we have offered registration at a certain time which resulted in a competitive race to get in first and our programs would sell out in a matter of minutes. This felt inequitable for working families, those registering for the first time, etc. We aim to be as inclusive and equitable as we can be and this is an ever evolving learning process. Ventura Wild

Ventura Wild rekindles a deep sense of belonging and connection to wild places by nurturing awareness, knowledge, skills and stewardship in the natural world. We are an education program of Ventura Land Trust, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our registration fees cover the cost of running the program and that’s it. Our team of highly experienced and skilled outdoor educators are simply here to share the joy and love of nature while tending and protecting our environment.
